What American Idol needs now is something of a surprise … It didn’t get that Thursday night. Janelle Arthur was eliminated.

Maybe the only thing close to a surprise was that Kree Harrison had joined her in the Bottom 2. So, along with Kree, the remaining four are Candice Glover, Amber Holcomb and Angie Miller. Next week’s elimination has something of a level of anxiety because the Top 3 finalists get a trip home to revel as a hometown hero.
Whomever goes next misses out on that.

Who will it be? Either Amber or Kree. But the ultimate answer is the winner and as it has been for the past couple of months the victory is Candice’s to lose.
