We could go on and on about Wednesday night’s Idol offering with an all-female cast of five left. But it all comes down to two points:

1- Candice Glover won the competition a long time ago…unless you want to factor in Angie Miller’s “original song” performance that gave her an early lead that just might surprise. But for now it’s Candice, Angie, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb and Janelle Arthur.

2-  The catfight. Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey were at it again. Was it real or was it simply Memorex and the show’s execs telling them to let the gloves come off and have it? Ratings are down so tempers need to flare. That might not be exactly accurate as to what happened but we all know for darn sure the execs didn’t tell them to “make nice.”

Sad the direction this show has taken in one 12-month span.
