If history means anything, and, oh yes, with Idol it means a lot, then we already have a winner.

But now comes the hard part – figuring it all out beforehand – who will receive Hollie’s votes? who will get the votes of the teenaged girls? will a female ever win this contest again?

So, and you are certainly welcome to participate, here are Idol Chatter’s odds to win:

8-1 – Phillip Phillips – That Dave Matthews thing can only go so far … but then again just maybe he has won the hearts of those teeny-boppers and the title is already in his back-pocket

… but that is doubtful…

3-1 – Jessica Sanchez – She is an awesome singer and win or lose there is a singing career in some fashion in her future. In fact, if she indeed does not win she will have a more lucrative career than any of the three … but remember there was a reason she had to be saved a few weeks ago and that doesn’t bode well for this week or next…

2-1 – Joshua Ledet – At this point, all-around, consistently you just have to anoint Joshua to follow in those huge footsteps of Lee “Whatever Happened to Him” DeWyze.
