Although I doubt seriously that she will outright win this competition, there is no denying how professional and self-sure 16-year old Thia Megia is on the Idol stage.

I think she is from Hayward and now lives in Mountain House, a little north of Tracy. So, she is just a neighbor of ours.

I really can’t wait to hear her sing more and to find out how she grew up – musically – so fast and so talented.
