We’ll make this quick and talk more about the SF auditions on Thursday:

Inessa Lee, 22, Los Angeles –

Originally from the Ukraine, squeaky voice in a belly dancer’s body.  Good, the judges deny her.

Brittany Mazur, 21, Tucson, Ariz. – Rasphy voice, makes it through.

Lara Johnston, 20, Novato –Alto from down the road. Wonder if she has ever been singing while driving through the Novato Narrows?

Matthew Nuss, 25, Huntington Beach –Decent singer, short segment.

Stefano Langone, 21, Kent, Wash. –Sang  “I Heard it Through the Grapevine” and he was the second best singer of the evening.

Clint Jun Gamboa, 26, Long Beach – Way, way overrated.

Drew Beaumier, 24, Fountain Valley – I talked to this guy as he walked into AT&T Park after crossing the bridge. Don’t know if they mentioned it but his schtick as a human transformer is used at kids’ parties to make a buck. That’s where you can find him transforming and performing today.

Julie Zorrilla, 20, L.A. – She sings  “Summertime” and she’s from Columbia and they left cause of the drug terrorists and she can sing, sorta.

Dave Combs, 25, SF –Sang The Beatles “Oh Darling” and sang it …. horribly!

Emily Anne Reed, 26, Arlington, Va. –Squeaky voice that will either grow on you in a good way or a bad way. She’ll have a short run in Hollywood.

James Durbin, 21, Santa Cruz – His dad died of a drug overdose when he was 9. He was on medication for a sleep disorder. He was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome and Asperger’s. That’s the bad news. Now the good: he met a girl and now they have a baby boy. Loud voice with an Adam Lambert quality.
