Adam Lambert takes center stage Tuesday night and Wednesday night to first mentor the Nimble Nine on Elvis Week and then to perform himself.

He’ll be a trivia answer himself – Who was the first Idol finalist to mentor contestants? Why, Adam, of course…

And, of course, it’s being done for ratings. Why not? Who else could attract the Tweens, the Glamberts and just anyone who watched a year ago, more than Adam?

Not Kris.

Not Allison.

Not Danny.

Not even David or David.

Just Adam.

P.S. Keep an eye on the No. 4 performer Tuesday night. If form holds, that might be one of the two finalists in trouble this week.
