Top 24 finalist Casey Abrams is still in the hospital as of Friday morning, but will rehearse with the band today and then tape the show according to TMZ.

TMZ said he was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday complaining of severe stomach pains.

If he is to continue in the competition he has to participate in the taping tonight of the Top 12 male contestants.

He might tape the show and then go back to the hospital.

And in case you don’t recall, Casey if the guy who was the first to perform on AI with an upright bass, he’s the guy who tossed his chair backward after learning he had made the Top 24 list and he’s very talented.
