OK, OK, I told you I was a Baby Boomer so I can’t help but toss out a “What’s My Line?” reference.
A website – Predicto.com ” has issued predictions for some “possible” events to come on this year’s edition of A-I.
As I read them I couldn’t help but think – Would good old “predicto” have tried to guess the occupations on What’s My Line?
Bennett Cerf, Dorothy Kilgallen, Arlene Francis and Hal Block were the panelists who tried to guess what the guests did for a living. Sometimes the answer was revealed to the home audience, sometimes it wasn’t. John Daly was the host of the show.
Not exactly scintillating television, but hey, it was 1952 and it was in black & white and Simon was just a twinkle in his mother’s eye.
Now, picture those five taking over A-I for just one night! Wow!

But I digress. Here were the responders’ answers to some of Predicto’s questions.
