Thoughts after Tuesday’s show…

– Apparently, because the one-hour show ran long, many viewers who were recording it missed Lambert’s effort. Why they can’t pace the show better is beyond me.
Ryan Seacrest defended himself on Twitter this morning saying his DVR also missed Adam’s performance. Some bloggers are placing the blame on A-I director Bruce Gowers and calling for him to be fired. Maybe the public should just vote on that one too…

– Who was that bald guy who showed up twice on camera at the beginning of the show? Maybe it was Simon’s bodyguard…

– Just a thought, but maybe Kris Allen and Scott MacIntyre ought to run their performances by someone before they actually take the stage. Certainly anyone who has ever listened to any song would have told them both – do something else…

– Granted it was a rerun, but on The View Wednesday morning (yes, I watched The View), Rob Lowe admitted to being a closet A-I fan. He likened it to going to MacDonald’s or Starbucks, “you feel dirty afterward, but you just have to watch it.” His favorite part of the show? The judges comments. “Simon should run for president,” Lowe said.

– Not surprising that Lambert admitted, as they showed his baby pics, that as a child he had no interest in sports and would much rather “play dress up than kick a soccer ball around.”

– Tonight should be the end of the line for Scott unless Lil gets too little votes….
