Last year’s winner – David Cook – appeared on tape on last week’s A-I and guess what? His album – David Cook – sales more than doubled (from 7,000 last week to 25,000 this week) and the album moved up 58 spots on the Billboard Top 200 list to No. 20.

That one little moment in time certainly paid off for Cook.
