Predicted the Bottom 3 right on the money – CJ Harris, Sam Woolf and Malaya Watson – but the judges decided to invoke the save and low-man Sam will hang around to sing for us another week. The thought here was that CJ would be heading home.

Slightly annoying as it is, the safe was embarrassing on Thursday night as the Idol producers decided to release confetti when it was announced. Hopefully, they saved some for the finale when the show travels to New York.

BTW how Sam earned a save anyway is beyond belief.
