Come on, we just have to be at least an inch closer to Armeggedon.

When General (he claims he was a general in the civil rights movement) Larry Platt’s life intersects with Brett Favre then you just know something is up with the universe.

The good General got his 15 minutes of fame last Wednesday night during AI’s auditions from Atlanta with his rendition of his ditty: “Pants On The Ground.”

Favre, the Minnetoa Vikings quarterback, did his version of the song ‘n dance in the Vikings’ lockerroom after their win over the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL Playoffs on Sunday.

Following are links to Favre’s performance and  a story on the good General from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution website.

In the meantime, here are two things you can bet on:

– If the Vikings win on Sunday and go to the Super Bowl and drag along “Pants On The Ground” with them, the General will become wealthy.

– Come springtime and the AI finale is on tap, the General will be in L.A. to perform. You can take that one to the bank.
