So, a quick analysis of the evening ought to tell Adam something since he apparently finished fourth out of five in the voting…
But what?
Guess here is that the public is feeling a little like I do, he is just going too much for the theatrics and leaving his voice a distant second. From here on out he needs to focus on what got him this far in the first place …

Jamie Foxx, Tuesday night’s mentor (and he did an excellent job at it), offered this comment to Ryan Seacrest on his morning show on Wedneday in L.A.:
“That Kris Allen cat is going to have a significant, significant career.” And about Adam Lambert: “That dude is going to shoot through the stratosphere.”

Now this is starting to get a bit befuddling. For certain, Adam is still going to win simply because of his voice, his theatrics and the early lead he built up.
But should he?
Based on Tuesday’s performances of Rat Pak genre tunes – no. If you want interpretation of song, singing ability and leave the theatrics out of the equation, then count him out. He tried to sing a standard …

The theme for Tuesday is the Rat Pack. Just in case you don’t know, or don’t remember, the Rat Park consisted of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Joey Bishop, Peter Lawford and Sammy Davis Jr.And there were a couple of women – Shirley MacLaine and Lauren Bacall – who were honorary members. How any of this is going to favor Allison is beyond me. Of course, a song is a song is …

OMG, what were they thinking.
Combined, the trio that performed on Wedneday night’s A-I offering are 186 years old and at times they looked and sounded like it.

Next up was Thelma Houston (62). OMG …

Simon Cowell was a guest early Tuesday a.m. on the Late, Late Craig Ferguson Show.
- You probably didn’t stay up to watch that, and if you didn’t record it either… well, for starters Simon boasted that he knew Ferguson’s fellow Scot, singer Susan Boyle, and he thought she would be “fantastic.”
Ferguson didn’t flinch and called him out on that comment with: “You lying sack of crap!”
Simon got a …
