Being the pivotal season that it is, Idol execs are tossing in all the chips they have, and Tuesday and Wednesday nights will be no different.

Returning are Idol alums Chris Daughtry and Adam Lambert to participate with the Top 30 finalists from this season in a “Boot Camp” scenario. It is being billed as a workshop overseen by former Idol judge Randy Jackson and the purpose being to familiarize the audience with those 30 lucky souls. Both nights shows start at 8 and Thursday’s show will reveal those who are eliminated by the viewing audience.

Maybe Idol should have familiarized the viewers with Daughtry and Lambert, both of whom didn’t win in different seasons of the show and should have.
