Two down. One to go?

Earlier this week, via her publicist, Mariah Carey announced that she would not be returning to the Idol judges’ panel. Now, via twitter, Nicki Minaj said she too will not be coming back for her sophomore season.

Fox responded this way:

“Nicki Minaj is a superstar who brought a level of honesty and passion to ‘American Idol and who had a tremendous positive impact on so many contestants this season. Given her extremely busy career, we understand and respect her decision and wish her the best.”

So that only leaves Keith Urban. Will he go or will he be nudged out the door? The Idol clock is ticking cause tryouts are already underway.
