Jessica Sanchez, who called Chula Vista home this time last year, will complete her
American Idol journey Thursday night when she goes full circle and returns to
the show that proclaimed her the runnerup to Philllip Phillips on Season 11
last May 23.

As part of this season’s Top 10 elimination shows for the current contestants, Sanchez,
now living in Los Angeles, will perform her debut single “Give Me Everything
(Tonight)” during the one-hour show which starts at 8 p.m. The record will be
released on Friday.

Sanchez’ Idol trip, which started less than two years ago with a tryout in San Diego, landed her a recording contract, a spot on the American Idol Summer Tour with over 50 concert dates around the country and a couple of trips for appearances in the Philippines.

Her runnerup spot also meant a tryout and subsequent role in a few upcoming episodes on the new season of the hit television show “Glee.”
