If it looks bogus and seems bogus then it probably will be bogus
in some fashion.

So it is with American Idol’s latest voting concoction. It is called the “SuperVote” and will be available via americanidol.com or the American Idol mobile app or Facebook. Anyone using any of those arenas can vote daily up to 50 times with all 50 going to one contestant or splitting the vote.

Something just seems a little odd here.

Of course, you can always vote the old-fashioned way by calling the toll-free telephone number each contestant will reveal after they perform.

The remaining 10 girls perform Tuesday night (8-10 p.m.), the 10 boys on Wednesday (8-10 p.m.) and then the season’s Top 10, selected by your vote, will be revealed on Thursday night (8-9:30 p.m.).

As for the new SuperVote system … holy hanging chad!
