Third place finisher: Haley Reinhart.

So that means it’ll be an all-country, all-teen, youngest finale matchup ever with Scotty and Lauren facing off. Not a whole lot of drama there but it seems to be the way that the show’s officials were hoping for anyway.

Apparently, Scotty has had a large lead in the voting all along, but which one will get Haley’s votes? Lauren? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe Haley’s voters won’t vote at all. Either way, whomever wins, it’ll take one heckuva CD to get me to buy it.

Best bet of this season is that James will follow in Chris Daughtry’s fourth-place footsteps and that Casey will surprise with a few hit songs no one expected.
