You want contemporary, Idol’s gonna give you contemporary on Wednesday night.

The seven remaining contestants will be singing songs of the 21st century. I don’t know what they will sing, but I do know I would love to hear Casey Abrams’ take on Pearl Jam’s “Just Breath.” I have to admit he would probably knock it out of the park.

+ Pia Toscano will perform on the April 26th show of Dancing With the Stars. I guess FOX and ABC love each other.

+ Kara DioGuardi (remember her judging stint for a couple of seasons?) has written her memoir called “A Helluva High Note.” In it she talks about being molested as a child and then as an adult date-raped by a well-known music producer.
