As you can note, there are 3 boys and 1 girl from California. And, as you well know, not one of the previous nine AI winners hailed from the Golden State.

Next week: 8-9:30 p.m. Tuesday (March 1) boys sing; 8-9:30 p.m. Wednesday (March 2) girls sing; 8-10 p.m. Thursday (March 3) results show. The field will be whittled down to a Top 20.
