Well, last year’s American Idol winner Lee DeWyze did get to perform on Sunday at the Bears/Packers NFC Championship Game in Chicago on Sunday. He didn’t sing the national anthem, but he did sing during halftime.

That’s the good news. The bad news?

His presence on national television lasted every bit of 33 seconds, tops. And he was standing on the field in about 10 degree temperatures if you factor in the wind chill factor.

Lee sang two songs at half time’ “Sweet Serendipity” and “Live it Up.”

Lee handled the whole fiasco much better than the Bears handled the Packers. Chicago lost, 21-14.
