The stands won't be full, it probably won't be raining but at AT&T Park in SF on Thursday is where someone's life might start to change as a result of the American Idol auditions. (Press Democrat photo)

Let’s get the corniness out of the way right away – Tuesday might well be the first day of the rest of your life. OK, do we have that straight?

Tuesday will be just that for all of us, but for someone it just might be a life-changing 24 hours.

Why?

Tuesday is the day you can start signing up to be auditioned for American Idol Season 10 at AT&T Park. Wristbands will be distributed starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday (Aug. 17) and will continue through 8 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 19).

Thursday is audition day – 5 a.m. sharp.

Are you going to participate? Are you the next Lee DeWyze? Would you like to give us a preview of your talent?

If so, just send along an MP3 clip of your singing talents and we’ll post it here for all the world to see what the AI producers will hear on Thursday. Send a clip to: bill.pinella@pressdemocrat.com

The San Francisco auditions will be the final one of a six-city audition tour this summer. For all the particulars on auditioning go to the following link:
