Well, now, that kinda turned out to be a shocker.

Mike Lynche at the bottom of the barrel. But he sings his way out and is saved by the judges.

And that move kinda puts the judges in an odd position. If, for instance, Crystal, Siobhan, Lee or Casey screw it up next week or the week after and fall into disfavor with the voters out there, then there is no recourse. They are gone.

Was “Big Mike” worth that? I don’t think so.

Of course  he was much better Wednesday than he was Tuesday, but worthy of a save? Nope.

And would they have saved either of the other two in the bottom three – Andrew or Aaron? Doubtful.

As for next week, as yet the theme is unknown, but the mentor is – it’ll be Adam Lambert. If the theme is Adam’s style then Siobhan is jumping up and down … and Casey is probably wondering what is going on.
