I just have a hunch that the judges are as much at a loss as I am by this 10-pack.

One week some of them sound like singers on a street corner, the next week they are OK, the following week they are innovative and unique and the next week they are scared to death.

You could have an argument this week to eliminate about 7 of them.

Even my leader in the clubhouse, Lee, was still nervous. Is this anyway for an AI contestant to be acting at this stage of the game?

Not.

But for the record, this week should be the end of Sellers and Park. But who knows, we were shocked last week that Lambert and Urban hung around and look how well they did this week.

Following are Idol Chatter’s Top 10 picks after Tuesday night’s performances:

1. Lee Dewyze – “Lips of an Angel” by Hinder

2. Casey James – “I Don’t Want to Be” by Gavin Degraw

3. Michael Lynche – “This is a Man’s World” by James Brown

4. Andrew Garcia – “You Give Me Something” by James Morrison

5. Aaron Kelly – “My Girl” by the Temptations

6. Alex Lambert – “Everybody Knows” by John Legend

7. Todrick Hall – “What’s Love Got to do with It” by Tina Turner

8. Tim Urban – “Come On Get Higher” by Matt Nathanson
