If Adam Lambert was looking for headlines he got them.

Following his racy and controversial performance on Sunday night’s ‘American Music Awards,’ the ABC morning show ‘Good Morning America’ canceled Lambert’s Wednesday morning appearance

ABC News said the network doesn’t think Lambert’s performance “would be appropriate for a morning audience.”

During the AMA show, Lambert performed his song, “For Your Entertainment,” simulating oral sex on stage and passionately kissing a male dancer.

Video of Lambert’s performance is no longer readily available due to a copyright claim by Dick Clark Productions, Inc.

Meanwhile, Lambert is in New York City preparing for a taping of a performance of his single ‘Whataya Want From Me’ for the show on Wednesday night.

The key here is that the show is taped. So, any replay of Sunday night’s AMA performance won’t be happening.
