OK, ABC-TV and Good Morning America  is ready for Friday.
The Glamberts, the Kris Allen lovers and David Cook fanatics undoubtedly will all be there.
Central Park, NYC.
8:30 a.m. local time.
Free admission, first-come, first-served.
“They will each sing one song apiece,” GMA spokeswoman Bridgette Maney said. “And I don’t know what order they will go in. I don’t know if that has even been determined yet.”
One good thing is that they will be doing more than one song although you won’t see it on the telecast. For that “extra” song from each you’ll have to go to the ABC website and we’ll provide you a direct link to that later today.
“Every year we try to get the American Idol winnner on one of the GMA Summer Concert Series shows,” Maney said, “and this one just happened to work out where we could get all three of these guys on the show as one time.”
The nationwide American Idol Tour has stops Aug. 4 in Washington, D.C.; Aug. 5 in Baltimore; and Aug. 7 in Atlantic City.
Cook’s tour stops are Aug. 4 in Millvale, Pa. and Aug. 6 at the Nokia Theater in New York.
Cook will actually be doing double-duty Friday a.m.
“I don’t know how he’ll pull that one off,” Maney said, “but I guess he’ll perform at the tail-end of the Regis & Kelly Show.”
Cook will leave Central Park and GMA and rush over to Regis & Kelly’s studio for their 9 a.m. show.
