The theme for Tuesday is the Rat Pack. Just in case you don’t know, or don’t remember, the Rat Park consisted of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Joey Bishop, Peter Lawford and Sammy Davis Jr.
And there were a couple of women – Shirley MacLaine and Lauren Bacall – who were honorary members.
How any of this is going to favor Allison is beyond me. Of course, a song is a song is a song. But usually the standards take on a male or female tone and Shirley and Lauren just didn’t have that many top 25 hits.
So, I’d say Allison is on the outside looking in on Tuesday night.
Then again maybe she’ll get to do “My Way” and simply knock off everyone’s socks.
